660/12...wow

Though I purchased it late August, 2003, last friday (2-6-04) was the first time I used my 660/12 on stage. All I gotta say is WOW! Hadn't even rehearsed with it (heck, hadn't rehearsed at all for this one), so I felt I was taking chance. But with a burst of boldness I plugged it in for my song "Laughing In Heaven" (shameless plug for a song no one's ever gonna hear anyway), lead solos and all! What a sound! Used my Fulltone Fulldrive 2 for the solos, a slight overdriven boost. If we could find a lead player I'd use this for just about everything (I am reluctantly playing lead, we're a trio)

I agree, Jerry, my 660-12 really shines in the band mix at gigs, even better than just playing it around the house.
