This is the first Ruby I have seen with black trim. Looking at the dinged areas, I can't be sure that i see a silver metalflake undercoat. I emailed the seller with the suspicion that it might be a refin (and got a somewhat non-informative, snippy reply) - any one else of the same opinion?

I have personally never seen a Ruby/BT combo before. I also remember seeing this bass on EBay awhile back too. It does look cool, but those dings look like she's had a rough life.
Plus if you look at the sellers other items you'll see that his forte seems to be in John Deere die cast mini tractor toys. Interesting...
