I'd like to replace my hi-gains with the 'new' 7.4k vintage toasters. Everywhere I've looked online sells them for $100 a piece. Youch! That's a lot of beans! Do you any of you know where I can get them for less?

Try Chris Clayton @ www.pickofthericks.com

Chris is currently selling the Toaster Pickups for $95.00 each and I believe that the price includes free shipping in the US (last time I looked).

Ethan: 100 US is worth it. There are also folks who want high gains and so in the end, the cost of the toasters will be much less. Why not list the high gains under the For Sale section.

I agree with Peter. $100 is nothing when you consider that there is no effect pedal or amp that can "mimic" the sound of Rick toaster. After you install them, you'll wonder why you considered cost at all!
