Just got the Lennon Legend book.. The "artifacts" brought back a lot of good memories. I remember the Beatles bubble gum cards and "kick myself" everyday for having enough foresight to keep them safe.. sometime through the years they got lost. Anyway, I think the book is a great collectors item..

Yeah, I had the complete set. I also had all the football AND baseball card sets of all the teams from 1966 through 1968. I didn't take them when I moved out and my parents sold them at a garage sale. Image I still get excited when I smell that gum!

I'm going to pick up that book soon. What's the price on it? I'm lucky my Beatles bubble gum cards survived. Not so lucky with my original 45 sleeves which I kept in mint condition in my old bedroom. Came home one day and my mother and sister had just done spring cleaning. They were on the way back from the dumps where they just threw my sleeves in the fire! Still not over it.

Larry

If you live near a big box store ( Costco, BJ's, etc), check there. I got mine for $19.99 when stores like Barnes & Noble were charging $49.95.

Thanks for the tip Bruce. I'm definitely going to end up buying this book soon. I'm still reading The Fool On The Hill which is a fairly new book on the life of Alan Williams. What a character. I met him in Liverpool at The Blue Angel, a nice guy and tough as nails.
