The big Frankfurt Int'l Music Trade Show starts at the end of this month. It's Europe's version of NAMM. Does anyone know if Ric is represented?

Frankfurt has, unfortunately, become a German regional tradeshow, at least as far as guitars are concerned. They've also eliminated one trade and one consumer day this year. NAMM has become the true international/world trade fair and that's why we and most other makers put the main emphasis on NAMM these days.

But, we are well represented at the Messe by the distributor, Casale Bauer/Peer Pro, and they will have plenty of items on display. Sometimes I go to the fair, sometimes I don't anymore- it's not like before when it was important that we went every year and had our own display.

It does seem to be a very good show still for lighting and pro audio gear, however. Obviously, it's a good place to see European-made goods that don't otherwise reach the rest of the world.

There also may be some interesting announcements coinciding with the show this year regarding increased Rickenbacker distribution in Europe.
