just got a email price for a loredo.....i was just curious....i am not really in the market for a new bass right now. after all i am still in love with my 01 4003 that i waited so long for.
they are more than 4003`s!
i wish some one would stock one so i could see it feel it play it to see if its worth the money...

it is only 161 dollars more, no big deal i just didnt think they were more since theres no binding, pickup cover, shark teeth, stereo output,2 less control knobs.......and no history

Maybe it's the humbuckers? Are they worth $161.00?

You overlooked Schaller M4's, solid machined ABM bridge, double laminated body, charactered Maple . . . and more expensive pickups.
Now that I think about it, we might have underpriced it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

Do some comparison shopping, it's a pretty good bang for the buck, and it's "Laredo"...

My cheyenne is a very nice bass. Its simply something different from Rickenbacker. A very high quality, great sounding instrument made in the USA. If your looking for 4003 tone, buy a 4003. If you want something a little different, go with a 4004. Their worth the extra money.

Do the Cii's sound different from the original Cheyenne? I wonder if the walnut alters the tone from the maple.

The Cis should be darker sounding due to the wood, but the Ciis will also sound different as the pickups are in a different place.
