In case you havent read the post over at Voxtalks: John Hall hand delivered the prototype 4001C64S to Sir Paul last week! Paul forgot his 4001S back in the UK. It is being used on a new album. WOW!

Much appreciated Nick. A great read. It will be nice to find out what he had to say about Pyramid strings.

Notice the picture on Voxtalks? An understring pickup. Ooops! I promised not to bring that up again didn't I?
Nice job Mr. Hall. Were you able to get Paul to endorse a signature bass yet? That's next.

"Spinning on an Axis" is the song Paul played this Rickenbacker on according to the sleeve notes. His new album "Driving Rain" has his best bass playing in years. It sounds to me that after all these years of being the all around musician, Paul concentrates on his bass playing. However, the song the above mentioned song isn't the most innovative in regards to bass playing, but it is still a cool song. When the hell are the "C" series guitars going to be available? This is a bit ridiculous. I've never heard of a company introducing a line and then taking almost a year to deliver. I plead once again...John, please let me have the 4001C64s you had at NAMM. Please don't make me beg again. It isn't pretty.
