Just too gorgeous Melissa. I really enjoy photos that use interesting textures as a background. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Hey Peter, that's Post 1967 for you!

One thing that fascinates me about these guitars is the difference in the shades of fireglo.... the 1967 guitar is a very bright orangey color, whereas the 360/12 (from 1993) has a richer, almost burgundy shading at the edges. Both are beautiful, in looks and in sound. I also have a 330 in fireglo from 1982, and that one is an altogether different color, as its shading is much more brownish around the edges.... There are probably endless variations in shades of fireglo!

Melissa, my 370/12v64 is a December 1993 (L6), and like yours, the red near the edge is nearly burgundy. My Olympus D400Z doesn't render reds well (as I've gone on and on about in other threads) as can be seen in this picture of my 1999 "620SPC" triple pick-up 620 FG:

Gary, that is a sweet-looking 620....Bet it sounds great with the extra pickup, too. And that looks like another interesting variation of fireglo, as the colors appear to be more "banded" than blended.

Melissa, I'll bet that both of these guitars left the factory looking very similar. Combined with the effect of the sun, flourescent lights, and clear coat that didn't have U.V. retarder, the 1967 has very nicely mellowed and yellowed.

The yellowing you can verify by comparing the bindings and the center of the guitar, while the fading of the red will only be apparent on the 1993 instrument about 30 years from now.

How long has the 620 been available with a middle PU? This is really cool looking...

And I was going to bid on that 670 when I saw it on eBay... oh well, it's in good hands. And I've since picked up a 350.
