Hand rubbed oil finish

what type of finish is the Ric hand rubbed oil finish? Tung oil?
I recently purchased a refinished Ric with a hand rubbed oil finish ... so my new bass already has marks from my guitar stand ... if you look you can see the 2 marks ...
So I will need to touch up the finish once in a while ... I think I know the drill ... I used to refin furniture back in the 80's ... apply with a rag smooth with 0000 steel wool ... I want to make sure that I use the right oil finish ...
