C64 - impressive

I had a chance today to play Marc Lazare's (Marc67) new c64MG, and compare it to his v63FG, 4001JG, 4001WHT, and to my 4003 Shadow, all using the same amp (G-K) and EQ settings.
I will not bore you with details, just wanted to say that I was very impressed with the c64. Until this morning I thought it was a gimmick, now I don't. It's a stunning instrument with a distinctive sound and feel, different from the v63 in many ways. The reverse headstock does not detract from its beauty. I found it hard to put away.
I'm still happy with my Shadow but I'm developing GAS for a v63/c64 quickly.
