At least it can be returned to stock fairly easily. But it's missing about $300.00 worth of parts which puts it's value at closer to $600.00. I've definitely seen worse on the Bay.

I have a problem with the seller's use of the wording "...It is in BRAND NEW CONDITION...". It didn't look like that when it was brand new!

The value of the bass is ruined by those pickups and is in no way in "brand new condition". Why would anyone take a 4003 out of stock condition, lower the value of it, then try to sell it?
And yes, there is WORSE on E-Bay, sad to say.

Is that a blemish on the photo?
The seller pulled the bass from the auction.

I actually enjoy REVERSABLE mods, there's no harm done, and parts can eventually be had to put it back to stock. It's when stuff gets hacked up that I'm perturbed...
