KUDOS to Rickenbacker Customer Service

For all the bad press Ric's customer service has gotten from time to time...

Please allow me to throw this one out there:

1.) Last week, I made ONE phone call to Ric Customer Service.
2.) Jay took the call, and was WAY friendly.
3.) He did NOT know the answer to my question, nor how to handle my need.
4.) Jay said he knew where to go to get me the answer I needed..and that he would check it out.
5.) Today - not only did Rickenbacker answer my question...but they FILLED my need - without a hitch, and with what appears to be a company who is supportive of their customers, and happy to help.

I didn't have to call back.
It didn't take two months for an answer.
Today, I have what I needed.

Kudos JH.
Makes me even prouder to be a Rickenbacker player.

OK - it's only one small deal. But to me, this one was HUGE.
And there was no mention of the Rickenbacker Forum, Kenny, VT, or anything like that during the phone conversation.

THIS is the way it should be done. Just WAY COOL.

Again - kudos to Rickenbacker.

Glad to hear that. I am in a customer service oriented business and it is very important to take care of business, so to speak.

Randy Bachman has been very good at taking care of business as well.

Speaking of B.T.O., on the back cover of their 1976 Best Of collection C. F. Turner is playing a 4001 with black pickguard & TRC just like my April '74 one. May be my 4001 has a pedigree... Lookin' out for #1...
