Model 230

I need a few details about the hamburg model.

Is the neck more like a 650 or more like a 360?

Also, about how much does this guitar weigh?

According to my 1993 brochure, it's 1 5/8" at the neck, same as a 360, 2" at the 12th fret, which is right in between a 360 and a 650, and weight is listed at 7 1/2 lbs. It's been quite a while since I played one, but to me it was right in between, noticeably bigger than a 360 and IIRC it was also a little deeper front to back.

I've got a 230, but I can't really compare it to a 360 as I've played them so rarely. The 230 has a thin neck side to side, and top to bottom, which makes it like most RICS. It is a comfy neck, and the frets are just the right size. Like almost all RICS I've played, the fit and finish is excellent. As far as weight, 7.5 pounds sounds about right. Its lighter than my brother's Alder Strat. It sounds way different than a 360, and thats mainly due to the pickups, which I love! If I ever lost my 230, I'd have to find another quickly!!
