Roxette Limited Editions

Given that Rickenbacker designed special guitars for Roxette back in the late 80s, was there ever any intention of making them into limited edition production models?
While I'm sure some might smirk and others might say "Rox-who?" I liken it to the Susanna Hoffs limited edition. As much as I personally love Susanna and the Bangles, I doubt that every 350SH owner is a fan. People buy the guitar because it's cool looking.
And the specially made Roxette guitars were cool looking, too. Any chance Ric will do a run of 250 each?

I'm pretty sure that's in the works right now. That's why the C Series 325C64 and 360/12C63 are being delayed.

So Jerry, you didn't like the all Jetglo model? Or the all-white model with the F-hole? I think they look pretty stunning and unique.

No offense to the artists, but is Roxette a sig-worthy act?
I am not familiar with their music, but I gather that they were a kind of one-hit wonder in the 80's. . .

John, maybe from a US perspective, but in countries like Britain, Australia, the Asian region, etc, they were the biggest thing since ABBA.
Again, I hate to pick on Susanna Hoffs, because I personally love her, but she was a pretty obscure signature choice herself. Compare Bangles (with sig) to REM (no sig) and others.
In other words, I didn't think being sig-worthy was always based on album sales or immediate popularity.

Keep in mind the artist also has to agree to a signature series geeetar. I bet Rickenbacker would give Pete Buck a Signature Series guitar if he would agree to it.

hey ... if Glen Fry can have a signature bass then how come Geddy doesn't? is it because it would have a leo quan bridge or is it because he now plays a jazz bass?
I bet if Geddy ever played a modern 4003 he just might really like it ... as opposed to that old 70's model he used to play ...
