A guitarist from a rival band here in Ma. plays or played with her for a long time, Duke Levine, he was always a great guitar player, the bass player from the same band is making a name for himself in Nashville also. He used to come to a rock n roll jam here in the early 80's quite frequently of which I was the house bass player, he always played: "Do it Again" Steely Dan among others.
I'm back in the states finally but won't have my computer hooked up for another two weeks.

i just saw Mary Chapin-Carpenter two weeks ago, in Beverly Massachusetts, and she plays her twelve string Rick (rhythm style) on two tunes. a great show with great musicians. AND, Duke Levine, who left her band, came out and played the encores with them.

Unfortunately they don't have internet cafes here in Ma. (I actually miss them and Lima) So I had to wait until the telephone Co. took their sweet time, I'm finally online, yeah! I got tired of fighting the kids for the computers in the library. I haven't seen Duke for years, I never really knew him that well anyway, is a great player though. It's funny but the bass player form their old band is also making a name for himself in Nashville as an upright and Danelectro player. David Jaques is his name. The name of the band was Crockett.
