Oven - top knobs on a modern rick?

Os it possible to put four oven-top knobs on a modern rick with 4 regular + 1 blend knob?

The first issue I see with this is structural: will they all fit?

The second issue: Cosmetic. How would the old knobs look with a modern or "black vintage" blender?

Yes they will fit(same size pot shafts)without touching each other but how they will look with a vintage blender knob is in question. Just use another "oven-top" knob.

Check out my old, long gone '63 375.

I don't believe that 5 "oven knobs" will work. Not enough space for the blend knob.

BTW: Probably the most beautiful '60s RIC ever.............;-(

What happened to it?

My wife and I wanted another child so I sold it. Turns out that we had quadruplets so it was pretty much an even trade...ha ha. ;-0

Well that's a pretty good reason - I'm not married just so that I can indulge myself in guitars Image

That 375 is indeed top shelf. Very nice. Who's got it?

Yea, That knob configuration is my exact same knob setup. Although be warned, they look nice but they were a pain to put on (at least for me)
I noticed that the little screw things inside the oven knob had no head. The modern day standard rick 330 knobs have a head while the oven knobs do not. Because of this, its very hard to keep them all aligned correctly because they are so loose. Thats probably why lennon changed them. Its amazing that a great company could have two of the worst compnents on the guitars. The Vib-rola Kauffman, and those knobs

The little "screw things inside the knob" are Allen screws. I had no problem putting these on my 3000 bass and lining them up using an Allen wrench.

It would have been nice if they'd used the same screws that were on their other knobs since I didn't even have the right size Allen wrence. They really are the finishing touch with a gold guard on a black bass. Pics to be posted in three weeks when it comes back from the refinisher.
