Is there and difference between 360/12v64 vs. 360/12c63, if so, How can you tell them apart, other than the serial number? Thanks

Yes, there is a HUGE difference.
360/12v64's exist.
360/12c63's do not exist.
When they do, there will be subtle differences in shapes, components and finish spray pattern.

There are many small, but significant differences. Body shape, binding width, head shape, body bracing, tuners, tuner ferrules, truss rod cover, and many more. They are subtle but important to the purist. The body bracing is the most signficant functional difference.
If I am to believe all I have heard about these, they will be wonderful.

But what about the neck? This is the one feature I haven't heard much about. The 60s 12-strings that I have played have all been quite slim. The V64s & CWs, in comparison seem bigger. I don't own a 60s 360 12-string but the ones I have played where incredible. They played beautifully and I had no problem with string spacing. When I pick up a new one, I struggle with the spacing. My hope is that the C 12-string neck will be different that the v series and like the 60s versions.

Thanks, for the responses. I had assumed they were out and were only being made in FireGlo (GH's color), because the FireGlo 360/12v64 are very expensive used. Does anyone know a time frame for release on the 360/12c63?

David - nobody who reads this board for information knows the answer to when the 12 string C-series will be available.

Maybe you should set your sights on a
Philson. They seem to be made of the same material.

The Carl Wilson Limited Edition 12 string is probably the best kept Rickenbacker secret around, a wonderful instrument and IMO better than the V64.
