Just got a e-mail from this Video beat and it is verygood for sixties stuff, problem for us brits, is that they only do videos in NTSC format.

I have a videothat apparantly plays tapes in the format, so may risk getting one.
There is a video called Story of Merseybeat, released about 84 I think, which features a lot of The Searchers and interview with Mike and John together

I'd love to have some Searchers on Video (VHS). The older, the better. But difficult to get hold on.. Maybe my old singles (Umbrella man, Kinky Kathy Abernathy) could be a part of a business negotiation. I also posess some RCA singles. Don't remember exactly. Desdemona?- Quite liked that one. Also remember b-side titles: World is waiting for tomorrow, Sing singer sing.. These two songs, weak and disappointing, I remember.

Einar,

If you contact me direct, I may be able to put you in toch with a source that specialises in Searchers Material.

Be warned however, it is not cheap although they may be interested in your stuff.

By the way Sing Singer Sing was a "A" side, read the article Take It Or Leave It (plug)
