Busted! Actually, we got the song during our first trip to Hamburg, in 1962. Joey Dee & the Starliters were doing it and we all became friends. In fact, I played guitar with Joey Dee & the Starliters in 1966, after the Undertakers broke up, while in America.

The "(Do The) Mashed Potato" was a Nat Kendricks record originally. We released it on PYE, as our first single, in 1963.
