Does anyone know about the Bantar and how it should be tuned? I think the 5 string should be gDGBD, but how should the 4 string be tuned? Is it DGBD or CGDA?
Any idea what gauge strings would be used?

Speaking of Banjo, get the Bela Fleck/Edgar Meyer CD/DVD set "Music For Two", absolutely fantastic! I saw the concert here in Cleveland last year.

You city-slickers better watch all that talk about Bantars.

A Bantar would be right at home in my collection, and I live in the heart of Bluegrass country--in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. I've always wondered what a Bantar would sound like in the hands of someone like Earl Scruggs or J.D. Crowe.
