Yessssss, New Ric 360-12 On Order

Post by gt5litre »

Well I ordered a new 360-12 in Fireglo with the VP option and ordered the Vintage case in addition to the standard SKB case. Got a good deal but the wait is 6-8 months, BOO-HOO.

I had a 1967 330-12 in Fireglo that had the Full size sharkfin inlays and it was a great guitar. I had to sell it to help pay for my wife's medical after we found she had breast cancer. I am so happy to be back home. I really liked the Fireglo on my 67 how close is the new Fireglo to the old?

Thanks for your info in advance and have a safe 4th.

Awesome!!! Congrats on your order, I'm sure the time will pass quickly, and once you get it the wait will have been well worth it.

The new fireglo will probably be redder than you remember, since so many '60s Fireglos faded to a more orange color.

In any case, good luck to you. Congrats!

ahhhh......RIC anticipation.....sort of like waiting for the ketchup(or is it catsup?)to come out of the bottle.....I'm sure you'll LOVE your new RIC!!!

I'm not a big fan of the newer fireglo....it seems too ummm, pinkish, to me....I absolutely LOVE the older "orangish" fireglo. My old v63 fireglo was dark red, almost brown!! It was nice too.....

my 2 cents.....

Are you sure it was a 330? They never had the FW inlays, only dots, I believe.

Droool.. congrats on the new Ric, Brent! I agree with the other members here about old vs. new fireglo, however, I know your 360 will be a beauty!

Congrats ;) My 660/12 was ordered in December, so I'm in the same boat.

For the record, I prefer the newer "salmonglo" FG's over the older ones.
