Broken bridge

I was playing my 360 at a show last night, and at some point during the last song I realized that my low E was only making a buzzing noise, no tones. the A string was better, and it progressed to the high E, which was fine. My guitar had also gone terribly out of tune.

I didnt realize until right now, that one of the bridge plate (height adjustment) screws was gone. it was on the low E side, so my low E was touching the pickups (buzzing), and my high e was unnaffected. Does anyone know where I can get one of these little hex screws???

Oh, and while I am here... I was thinking of having my luthier do some mods to it. I would rather not have such a heavily lacquered neck, so I was considering having him sand down the neck and fretboard and giving it a satin finish like a tele neck. I am also considering having medium jumbo frets installed, since the stock frets seem a bit smaller. Has anyone had similar preference issues with the ric neck?

thanks in advance.

Off the top of my head, I want to say that Allen screw you seek is like about 3/4" long, maybe a tad less, and the machine thread size I think is a 3/48.I've gotten them at really well stocked local hdwe stores in those flat screw assortment boxes. On the other hand, email me,Justin; I'll go dig one out of my parts box and send it to ya snail mail. Need the chromed one, or the black oxide?

Any decent hardware store (but not Home Depot). 4-40x1/2". You'll probably want 4, as the replacements tend to be black. If you lost the spring, too, that may be more difficult to find.

Or, you could order the real thing from Pick of the Ricks (or any RIC dealer): http://www.pickofthericks.com/hardware.htm. Part # 05302; $1.50(!). The spring is part # 06114; $.50.

Wow thanks for the info. Ill probably try pick of the ricks just for officialities sake...Ill see if they have it on hand and can get it to me quick.

By the way, I did lose the spring! I could have looked for this stuff had I realized AT the show. DOH!

Thanks for the offer Don, Ill let you know if I have absolutely no luck getting the part at POTRs or the hardware store, I lost a chromed one, but I just want it to work so a pink one would do fine for all I care.
