Rikki Redstreak recorded with Jackie Lomax and the Undertakers on the album "Home Is Where The Heart Is." It has only been recently, through the writings of P. Willis-Pitts that it has come to my attention that Rikki was actually John Lennon. Apparently Lennon took the name from the Litherland group,
Rikki and The Redstreaks. You can read all about this story in Willis-Pitts most interesting book
Liverpool The 5th Beatle. I am hoping that Chris Huston will add his comments to this post.

Well gang, I've got to say that it's news to me! The Undertakers with Jackie Lomax (who was our bass player and lead vocalist) did not record with Rikki Redstreak (AKA John Lennon) on the album "Home Is Where The Heart Is." Sorry as I am about that. Hell, it would have been fun.
There was, however, a group called "Rikki & the Redstreaks", in Liverpool in the early sixties, just as reported. It never ceases to amaze me how history is constantly being re-written or attempts are being made to do so!

Thanks Chris. You ought to know as you were there. It is important to validate claims made with regard to this period.
