Check out the grain in the fingerboard. Perhaps a good reference for identification.

Also a swirl in the walnut at around the 5th or 6th fret.

Glen: I like this photo at this angle. It seems to show more detail.

Greg, quit teasing us!!! :P

We know it's a 360/12OS...but does it have a slash or "f" hole? I've enjoyed what's been posted so far, but I'm ready to see the guitar's face!

I'm pretty busy over the next few days, but I'll see if I can eventually get some additional pics posted.

The important things other than the f-hole have already been shown as follows:

1) Proto 12-string headstock shape and routes like Harrison's, Marsden's, Townshend's, Campbell's, Marks', Lennon's, DeLacy's, John Hall's, and like the 360C63/12.

2) No volute

3) Square Heal

:D :) :D :) :D :)

September 1964. I have the bridge cover too but it gets in the way of palm muting.

That guitar is just stunning Rod! :D I can't imagine many (any?) other 1964 f-hole Ricks surviving in better condition. In fact, looking at the register, seems that only a small percentage of the UK bound Rose Morris 1997/1998 exports from that year must have survived at all.... :(

Thanks! It's not perfect, but there can't be many left in this condition. Here's a couple more shots:

Would an early 1964 335S or 1997 come with a Pat Pending stamp on the Rickenbacker Accent or would it come without the stamp?

What do the experts say?
