12-string sound samples?

I'm in Germany and am hot-to-trot for a Rick 12 for a small combo being put together later this summer with a friend arriving for a new assignment here. I played other 12's in a local store but soon as I played the 360/12 they had there I was hooked - it's gotta be a Rick!

Thought at first that a solid body 12 would be best, a 660 or 620. Would have to pay in advance and order one, however, as there are none to be found for a test drive in Germany.

Am leaning toward the 660/12 but if unavailable I could get used to the narrow neck of a 360 or 620 Am seeing posts on this forum, however, that solids and semis sound quite different. Would it be possible for someone to record and forward to me some MP3 sound samples from a 660/12 and one of the semi-hollow 12's? Would also like to hear an audio demo of stereo output too to see if it would be worth going for the 620 or 360's stereo versus the mono of the 660.

Thanks!

Stephen: By listening to Tom Petty you can get a pretty good idea what a Rickenbacker solid body 12 string sounds like. In my view, the solid body has greater sustain so if that is a strong consideration for you I would go with the 660/12. Blue Rodeo uses a semi-hollow body so listening to them may be helpful. To be honest, I would go for what you think is going to be the most comfortable player as to my ear, it is difficult from recordings to tell whether the song is being played on a solid body or not. My two cents.
