Just have to gush over the 4003 bass I bought last week. I knew from previous exerience that the Ric basses played nice so when the call came to share bass duties I had a small list of basses that I checked out.

I found a 4001 bass which confirmed that I had to definitely get a Ric. The neck is like no other and the body is just so damn stylish and comfortable. The 4001 was a little out a my price range but I soon found a great '98 4003 that fit my budget.

Even though I'm a guitar player I just haven't been able to put this bass down each time I play it. What can I say, this bass has a power over me lol!

Needless to say I will be checking out some Ric guitars next. Don't know how I've overlooked the guitars all these years! The feel and quality oif the bass is outstanding and I'm sure it translates to the guitar line as well.

So now a 330 or 620 Hmm....

Well a 620 looks mighty appealing and then I always wanted a 360-12 and then how can I call myself a real Beatle fan without ever owning a 325-C64?

I guess living on peanut butter sandwiches to support my GAS isn't all that bad lol!

Could the hot single coil pups in the 620 be compared to P-90s?

Glad to hear that you have joined the "ranks" of being a Rick owner. Try the guitars for sure. I have a handful of basses and they are cool. I don't play much guitar but when I buy one later o, it will be a Rick. There should be more Jamies/Jaymis around here!!!
