Not even sure if I am in the right topic area...but here goes. Why would a Ric I have have 'spotty' yellowing on the white binding? I know they naturally turn but this isn't so natural. Anyone got a clue?

perhaps someone sanded the binding at one point? either when doing a fret repair or a finish repair? does it look sanded?
