Although I'm not much into the music of L7 and Pink, I liked Janis Tanaka immediately when seeing these 2 pics of her with her late '60s/early '70s 4001 FG, a couple of years ago.
Another shot with her post-'75 4001 MG.
Unfortunately, she seems to favour her P bass these days.
Janis, if you're reading this, GET THE 4001 BACK ON!!!

L7 hasn't toured since that late 2000 tour mentioned in the interview. Janis has been with Fireball Ministry for a long time now. If you're not familiar with their music, well, errm, they're getting ready for a tour with Dio and Anthrax.
