I've noticed that some of you hang your Ricks on the wall for display. Is this a good idea? Does it cause any problems? Dust, exc...?

I've been doing it for the past 4 years and haven't had any problems. Just make sure that environment is clean and humidity is at a constent between 40-60%.
If you're going to do it, make sure that you've got a excellent wall hanger. I use String Swing CC-01 hangers. There are others but I prefer these. I have 6 basses (60's and early 70's vintage) that I have hanging off my wall.
Cheers,

I had 8 basses on my living room wall for years, the only damage was to red finishes (including sunburst) - they fade, significantly. A red EB2 turned dark amber (just the front) and a 3-tone sunburst you-know-what lost a lot of the red. Other finishes remained intact. So my advice would be to keep them out of direct sunlight.
