I've seen that Wal in action with it's original owner, Roger Newell, during Rick Wakeman's King Arthur tour, Winter '75. It has been said that Chris currently has a repro of the original.

I met Rick and Roger after the show and we had a rather nice discussion for a while.

If you don't already have it, the Starlicks Chris Squire Video is worth getting. It's called an instructional Video, but it deals more with Chris' Basses & equipment, as well as some signature riffs. This devoted Squire fan highly recommends it.

"Fender Jaguar pickups?". No, Fender Mustang ones. The top neck appears to be fitted with Telecasters.
"One ugly bass." I totally agree. And a gimmicky one to boot. Hey, Chris, never heard of the 4080 Model?

He uses that bass on "Awaken". Plays all three necks he does.
