I guess I need to get a life too!
I noticed that Jaymi hit the mark right before me, but I thought I would celebrate with a picture of my basses, I never posted the small collection on the forum.
Here they are, Ibanez 5-string, Hamer B12L, and Epiphone Thunderbird in the back row, and the '73 Rickenbacker 4001 MG in the front. They all have straps on them because they are getting ready to go out and play hard the next 2 weeks in a row.

Congats, Steve! And that's a nice collection. With so many different ones, I guess you can cover all the basses, er, bases, when it comes to playing ...

Hi Steve-
Glad to see you are playin' a T- Bird..even if it is an Epi..
I've always thought a Ric and an Thunderbird worked well together.

Brian,
Yes they do go well together. I tried the Epi to see if I would like the bass, and I love it. So I'm sure a Gibson will be in my future. Gary, it is a good thing that I can get a lot of distinctly different sounds, I need them for the band I play in! But you can tell which is in front!

Hey Steve ... if you need a few more posts you can have some of mine ... there are several on the forum that I am no longer using ...
hey nice collection ... hey I used to own 2 of those basses ... that '73 ric is a great gigging bass ... it works good in the studio as well ...
I still think you should refin the hamer 12 to silver ...

I too am a firm believe in the Gibson T-Bird/Rickenbacker happy marriage.
I have 3 Ricks, one Fender & a T-bird, but the 4003 & the T-bird are a deadly one-two punch!
