I'll start us off.
I was rather pick happy. Taken from an insanely growly solo over a hi-hat drum riff. (drums not audible). Oh, ignore my cries of glee, too. I was having a lot of fun!
Ric used: 1972 4001 BG
Right-click and "Save target as.." to hear!

thanks guys ... I added a blues track with my ex-68 4001 ... some of those tracks were recorded on cheap $100 cassette machines and some digitally ... the fortunate son has the roland digital drums ... it was the only time that drummer wasn't too loud ...

Damn Jeff!
What settings are you using on your pod?It sounds amazing! Seriously! I would love some hints.I'm using a Boss GT-6B so I'm sure I can "emulate" your sound, I hope! Also I can give you a sweet deal on a brand new Bass Pod XT Pro,if you are interested.
Mark I can't get the thread either.Same error message.

Uhm - That's because it wasn't ME playing the bloody solo.
My joker of a friend David has recorded his (LACK of) expertise and 'pulled a fast one' - to paraphrase a well-known British colloquialism. The git found out my password to more or less EVERYTHING and decided to conjure a prank!
I.e - He's having a laugh!

How do you run your gain settings on the B2 Jeff?
Posted: Mon Nov 15, 2004 12:32 pm
by jwr2
I run the bridge pickup at 10, both tone controls at 10 and the neck pickup at 8 ... the pod volume I run at 4-5 ... and the gain and volume on the b2r are both in the 3-5 range ... usually 4 ...
