Hi guys and gals. Just a reminder of my gig this Saturday evening at the Baltimore Progressive Showcase at Orion Sound Studios. Come out and check out some great music by my band, Rare Blend, and Tunnels with Percy Jones. See Rickenbacker basses in action!!!

Baltimore Jazz Fusion Evening
Just got back from Baltimore. We had a great turn out and Rare Blend got a really good reception, even to the point that when Tunnels went on, one guy yelled out "Rare Blend"! The sound was excellent, for us at least, as the bass was really boomy for Tunnels, on both Percy's sound and the bottom end of Marc Wagnon's midi vibes. We sold a bunch of CDs, and I have a feeling we'll be back there again. The venue is rather intimate and the decor is right out of '60s/'70s Hippyville.
I used my '73 4001 and had my 4004Cii as backup. Poeple loved the sound of the Rick (I never got comments on my sound when I played my Zons or Jazz Bass).
Bruce,
Some friends of mine came down from Philly, they live in Elkins Park. Sunday we drove up there for the night. Too bad you couldn't make it down, I was hoping to meet some forumites but none showed up! Oh well.

Thanks. One of them is a musician friend that goes back to the early '70s, and his wife, who is a French professor at Drexel University.
