What is it with sellers with 0 feedback suddenly listing Rics? Take item #3764845973 for example @ http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4713&item=3764845973&rd=1.

I'd bite, even without the Horseshoe but not with someone with absolutely no feedback. I've asked for better photos and an explanation on who the seller is, if I can get something I'll let you know.

need some better pictures too. That one sucks.. TRC missing, knobs wrong. no horseshoe and 70's blue interior case. Not 2500.00 if you ask me....

He left out the part about the "treble punch and solid underlying bass". Maybe he is using old literature. He has been an Ebay member for just a few hours. I would steer clear just yet.

Sniff, sniff... Hm, doesn't smell like an early 60s 4000... I'd say it's a late 60s with 70s parts (the pickup, the bridge assembly). Assuming we're looking at a legit Rick bass at all, that is.

time for pics with the PG off and some closeup shots of everything we can think of to verify it is real...

Shock and surprise! Could be just a holiday delay I suppose.

Compare this sellers pictures and communication to the one from Germany, which are admittedly the best I,ve seen for a long time.
This is an example of how not to sell on E-bay...
