Here's a pic of a recently surfaced 325 from June 1964. It's in Autumnglo...and it grows on you....

Very nice!
It's Autumnglo, I'm green - with envy!
Can you tell us anything about where it surfaced?

Could this guitar be a RM1996? It has very nice color to it, not all too different from Fireglo..
What definitively make this an Autumnglo guitar?
It just seems real close to a Fireglo finish...

Yes, this is a RM1996 that has faded to an Autumnglo looking finish. I'm told that it also spent 20 years hanging on the wall above the bar of one of it's previous owners.

Glen: My reason for asking was that I am thinking they actually shipped some Autumnglo 1996's to either Britain or Austrailia in limited numbers, and I have never seen one other than in an advertisment (B&W at that)....Thanks.

There is a mention of 1997's, 1998's, and even 1999's in Autumnglo finish shipped to Rose Morris in 1966 in the export totals of Richard Smith's book. It didn't mention anything about Autumnglo '64 1996's but you never know.
