Three years ago today, the world lost a lovely human being. A great guitarist, songwriter and humanitarian. The "little brother" in the greatest rock and roll band. And one of the main reasons that many of us play Rickenbackers.
Remembering George Harrison.

It was actually three years ago yesterday, the 29th that we lost George.
If you haven't seen "A Concert for George" yet, I would encourage you too. If you already have, watch it again. It's terrific.

"A Concert for George" is running tonight (December 1) on two of our local PBS stations, don't know if it's nation wide.

I already had my Kustom guitar when I saw the pics of George and John with the Rics in the Help songbook in a closet in my high school. I knew then that I wanted the real Ric someday.
George really wrote some wonderful tunes with the Beatles too. I still get goose bumps when I hear them. They are beginning to play Here Comes The Sun on the radio more now and its one of my favorites.
I would imagine that quite a few country gentlemen Gretsch guitars have been sold too due to George's infulence.
The man is definitly missed.
