This may seem a little silly, but tomorrow will be my last day in my 30's because on Saturday I will finally turn 40. The one thing that I really enjoy about the forum is that Rick lovers and afficionados come from all walks of life and are a variety of ages. Even though I may be greying slightly, this place makes me feel like I'm 16 again, playing my '79 Burgandyglo 4001 in my friends garage. Thanks for everything, guys.

If you want to see immaturity, check out the colour of the year thread in Rickenbacker General. What's wrong with us...can't we wait. Of course we can't! Great fun!
I'm 44 & proudly immature.

Happy birthday Ron.

Ron, I'll be joining you in the club in a few months. My motto is, "It's not how old you are, but rather how you get old that counts." I can still rock harder than a lot of young whipper-snappers. Image Keep rocking!

Ron: Remember, if you haven't grown up by the time you are 40 you don't have to.

When Ansel Adams was 4 years old he fell and broke his nose due to the 1906 San Francisco earthquake ( I'm sure it was just the bass section of the San Francisco Symphony really). He said that when he matured he would get the nose fixed. By the time he was in his 70s he realized that he was never going to get it fixed! He died at the immature age of 82.

Dave, thank you. Now I have permission to keep acting like a 22 year old! Image And Peter, if I can keep from maturing over the next 4 months, I will be all set! Image
