Sheepish asking . . . Uh, how do I remove the pickup cover from the bridge PU on a 4003?

I've found the best way (and easiest IMO) is to remove the strings. This just makes things easier. You then can remove the surround from around the bridge pickup. The whole thing then can be removed from the body - carefully so has to no disconnect the wiring. You then can remove the 2 larger screws holding the pickup itself to the surround. Then remove the cover and reassemble - making sure to include the springs and the ground wire back in the reassembly. This is the easiest way I've found after having tried other methods w/o removing the strings.
