Here it is, my 1974 4001 "Burgundy Glo".

Like Mitch said, it's more like Tomato Glo. To me, it's "rust" colored. Totally awesome if you ask me. Like I said, it's a player's bass. Not mint, but perfectly beat up. I totally love the vibe!! The serial is NA225. The bridge PU is from a 4003, so it's hotter. The tuners, knobs, pickguard, PU plate, and PU cover are all replacement parts. The bridge is slightly pitted, but not too bad. Pictures really don't do the guitar justice. The color is very cool. The wear comes off much more "yellow" in the pix. It's not as pronounced in real life. You'll see that I filed the tuner down on top because it was too big. Works great. I've got Pyramid Flats on it and it's killer.
