Sometime in late Winter/early Spring a confluence is in the very early planning stages for the Dayton, Ohio area. The featured series is the 4005 but all are welcome!

Count me in. Although I will lack a 4005.

....a confluence doesn't involve any sort of "towel snapping" does it?.....if not, I'm in as long as I don't have to work.

You might have to play a bunch of different Rickenbackers, is that work? (When you mean work, does that mean you won't do security, to make sure nothing happens to our precious instruments?)

We will need to find a place to gather where we can jam, eat, drink, you know, the usual stuff.

All RIC instruments are welcome, skinny and fat strings. Maybe John Hall can bring the cast iron electric upright bass!

I will happily supply unofficial security Image....but what I actually meant was that as long as I am not required to be physically at my job (rotating days off) that I will be there. I have plenty of comp time but I can't always be certain that my requests will be granted.

Sounds like a lot of fun, but I noticed that the "towel snapping" question was conveniently avoided. Image

Francesco, my friend!! If you can't make it, you could always DONATE your beautiful 4005 for the confluence!!! Image

Yeah! That sounds like a very nice and generous idea. It can be "loaned" to the most deserving attendee without a 4005.

Better yet, it can be the door prize! Image

If a 4005 is the door prize I'll even come from Atlanta for this thing!

4005 conference? I'm there! I love nothing more that my 4005. Where in Ohio? Cleveland?

I wish it were Cleveland as that is where I am.

Dayton area, as Chris Pappas and I may do some business near there. I'm hoping that Scott Doseck can come up with a gathering place (hint, hint!) as he lives near there.
