Does anyone else have one on order? I have had one on order for almost a year now (January will be a year). I know they take awhile, but I've seen a few posts from people who have gotten theirs and did not have to wait as long. What gives?

I ordered a fretless Blueboy sometime around June or July and haven't received it, I'm not champing at the bit however as they told me they had no idea when it would be ready, his guess was about 6 months.

I'd like to get a fretless 4003. I'd probably want to make a 5 string out of it.

I ordered mine in Montezuma Brown. I don't mind them taking their time, but one year? Come on.

Rick, this past week was 14 months since I ordered my trans red 4004/5Cii, and I think think it will be at least another month or two before I get a call that is has been shipped.

Jared, the 4004/5Cii MG that I have was ordered by POTR for store stock before I ordered my trans red.

I must of been fairly lucky.
I ordered my 4003FL mapleglo at the end of October 2003 and received it early July 2004 - 3 months earlier than I was quoted when I ordered it.My only regret is that I didn't order a 5002 mandolin at the same time.At it happens, the dealer I ordered my fretless from had just had a delivery of a matching 4003 mapleglo when my 4003fl came into stock , so I had one of those as well.

I got my 4003FL from Bass NW as a used bass, but it really was brand new, just that a person bought the bass, then returned it a short time later for something else and BNW couldn't resell it as new. I paid $799.00 and it had everything, even the unfilled out warranty card.

Yep, and those 2 4001FL's are pretty expensive.

Yeah I think the 4001's are a little high also, FL's usually go cheaper than comparable fretted basses.
