How can a single slab of wood be so wrong on so many different levels?

They describe the neck wood as "mahogany". Maybe Japanese mahogany is related to USA maple. What do you think? Or are they talking about the "wings" on either side of the boat paddle, I mean peghead?

Fernandes is the definitive lawsuit company, at least in their early days. I had a F guitar copy from them that I thought it was great. This bass looks pretty interesting if you ask me, especially if you consider it was made in the early 80's

Thanks Ilan Image
I've never before seen a copy with walnut wings.
Geez, they even got the font for the TRC to match. Roadsterism maybe? The s at the end of Fernandes looks bad.
Is this bass neck thru body?

Last year I got my '73 with checkered binding and toaster pickup for not much more than that.

I would have never paid $530 for a copy, but it sure looks like you lucked out with the JG, Joey.
Nice bass!
