Why don't you wait till after the new color of the year is announced later this month? If BB IS discontinued, you'll be able to say that it's a discontinued color and it's "bound to go up in value, dear" ?

It's probably safer than the stock market Image

Just buy it THEN tell her.....it is always easier to get forgiveness than permission !

Blue Boy is absolutely over, gone, kaput. There may be a few remaining orders to be filled but after those are produced, that's it.

Many dealers already have the new color on order and production of those has already begun; in fact I expect to see the first production units tomorrow or Friday.

No, no, it's actually posted on the Rick Resource Registration site already and has been for awhile. It's also on several third party sites as well.

I think what John may be referring to ....well a while back, during an intense C.O.Y. discussion, someone happened to hit the mark, but John never pointed it out directly....at least not to US!! Image

I'll find it....Image

Look under "Rickenbacker General" ......go down to "Color of the Year" post

I believe the new COY lies within the early posts....

....of course, I COULD be wrong....

I'm telling you, there's a picture of a real, well used guitar in "the color" that's been on the Rick Resource Registration site for years.
