Does anyone know if Blue Boy has been officially discontinued as a color option?I know they kept Monty around for another year.
Still waiting for my Cheyenne II in this color.
Maybe I should have just chosen another shade.

As far as I know, Dec.31 of '04 was the cutoff for the blueboy.
I you had an order in before then, you should be OK.

You made the right decision Marc and I,m sure you,ll be fine. You will have a rare cool bass too. I think the BB like the Seagrgeen will be quite collectible in the future.

OK now I'm having major GAS for a Blueboy 4003. Maybe I should contact Mike Parks, I think he has 2 BB's on order that are not spoken for yet.

I really like my 4003BB. You have to see one in person though to appreciate the color. Outside in the sun it almost appears white.

I purchased a 4003BB and it looks great.... Scott's right it appears almost white when outside or under bright lights....
Mr.John Hall said that BB is "over" "gone" kaputt"

Funny thing is when I shopped for the bass, the dealers(other than Mike Parks) told me the Cheyenne was not available in Blue Boy. Looks like Mike will be getting the one he sold me and two others that he ordered which appear unspoken for.
My only hesitance was that the color is opaque and part of the beauty of the Cheyenne II are the beautiful grains that appear with the translucent colors.
March will be my one year anniversary of waiting for it(as well as my marriage's 18th year, as if that matters;>).

Looking at that fretted BB makes me wish I had ordered a fretted one as well as a fretless, that's a really pretty bass Ian.

I'd be interested in knowing how many BB 4003's were actually sold. When I got mine from Mike Parks he mentioned that he had sold perhaps 8 or 10. This was in June.
