Pick Picks?

Here's a question for the group. What kind and/or thickness of picks did the Beatles use when they played?
As we know, different picks affect the feel and sound.
Any ideas?

I've also wondered the same, but it seems George doesn't always uses picks, I believe to have seen him many times without one.
But I don't really have any proof...
I'm sure John used one.
All depends on what album too...

They used little 5-sided picks that were sort of trapezoid shaped. WITH in Japan sells repros:

They are conoisseurs of obscurity and passionate cultists. Beatles ties??? Lefty Rick basses? Step right up! No, sir, I don't play, but I've got this Jones about McCartney...

I believe the story behind those 4003's is RIC made just under 100 with checked binding to satisfy some special Japanese market conditions....
....but back to those trap pics.....what the ??? I've never seen those before....did Paul use those? I STILL am amazed at his picking technique in the Beatle days.....
