Hi guys. Let me start off by saying that you all have been a tremendous source of information. Now, I wonder if you can help me again. My '64 4001 is now in San Antonio being worked on. Before I sent it in, I checked the horseshoe pickup and the magnet seems to be REALLY weak. I don't think it is going to have much output. Is there anyone who can re-gauss the pickup? Someone referred me to Jason Lollar and I emailed him a few times and have gotten no response. Thanks for anything you guys can offer.

Yeah, what Jeff says is really true.

You could try regaussing it anyway, but don't expect for a second it'll be as hot as a high-gain except with a '60's vibe.'
