I've been lurking for awhile and finally decided to register and introduce myself. I'm joepee from San Antonio, Texas and found out about this forum through Voxtalks.
I got a good deal on a used 325c58 in Maple Glo and have since added the Bigsby and bowtie bridge, have got the Pyramid .13s on it, and jangle through a Vox Valvetronix AD120VT. I am just in love with this guitar!

Thanks, Ron. Aren't you one of "The Eggmen" from Austin? If you are, I have been wanting to catch one of your performances one of these days.

Joe, are you a new Texan, or a Texan with a new (to you) Ric?
An Eggmen show is definitely worth your while. I'm waiting for them to play Gruene Hall

, but in the meantime I'm planning to drive up for the April Fool show at Central Market.

Hello. Another Texan here. I live in Dallas. I've been collecting Ricks since I bought a '64 325 in 1979. I currently have (26) guitars and basses, and (10) are Ricks. I also have about a dozen Vox amps and several Vox keyboards. My musical interests are centered on British 60's (beat, mod, psych) and electric folk like the Byrds. Most of my gear is old and original, but today I'm mostly buying nice reissue pieces. I'm currently thinking of selling a few vintage pieces to make room for other things. Let me know if you want a list of possible sale items.

Thanks All for the welcome! I will have to borrow a digital camera from someone to post a photo.
Do you just upload a jpeg attachment???

Joe, yes, you just upload a jpeg from your hard drive. Your pic has to be no larger than 500x500 and 36K.
And to answer your earlier question, I'm in the greater New Braunfels area.

Another Texas resident here (I will never be a Texan... from Idaho by birth)...
In Richardson with a 360MGVP that begs to be jammin' with someone.
I think we need a Texas Ric Jam... any ideas?

We could do it at an Eggmen gig in Austin sometime in the spring or summer. Everyone get on stage and play a few Beatles tunes.
