Best gigbag?

What gigbags are you using for your Rick´s?
I go by subway to rehersals and gigs so a good gigbag is a must as the hardcase is too heavy.
Now I have a rather thin lightly padded gigbag. Any suggestions?
Do standard gigbags for Fender shaped instruments fit?

Levy's makes some really nice high-end gig bags that protect the instrument really well.

I would never take a good instrument on a subway in a gig bag. In fact I won't take any instrument anywhere in a gig bag except my upright because I couldn't fit a hardshell case (if they even make them) in my car.

Sometimes a hardshell case is just not an option. Gig bags needn't be those flimsy, $20 Sam Ash specials that most players think of when they think of gig bags. The better ones offer excellent protection. A friend of mine likes to demonstrate his confidence in his gig bag by letting his vintage Les Paul fall over while in the bag. I would not try that with a cheap bag but in his Levy's the Paul is quite safe. Granted, no gig bag will survive the Samsonite gorilla test but most hardshells would not either.

I usually have my bass in a gigbag on my back and my amp on a cart. That way my hands are occupied and the hardcase is not an option.
I´ve been looking at these gigbags called Incase tourbag or Incase Slimbag at www.goincase.com but they are being discontinued. They are semihard cases I believe.
I´ll check out the Levy´s

The Gorilla test, haha! I forgot about that, not as good as the Red Rose Tea monkee jazz band though.

I have a Reunion Blues double bass gig bag in black leather. The thing's unbeatable. Not cheap however. A new one will run $600. I paid around $300 used.

Try this - Under Cover gig bags. I've been thinking about getting one myself.
