This is one for the Byrds' Historians. Please identify all of those people in the photo, from left to right in front and back rows. Also, do you know the year and the venue?

Could it be that (from left to right back row)Chris Hillman,Gene Clark,Michael Clarke,David Crosby, and Jim/Roger McGuinn are all holding pamphlets on the dangers of 'loud music' and the three men in the front are from the National Safety Council for the Hearing and Sight impaired ?
Or is the guy in front and on the right ,the winner of the Roy Orbison lookalike contest and the 'Byrds' are holding the score sheets ,validating his victory?

Mark: Through the efforts of Terry O, it would seem that the photo was taken in Phoenix, Arizona
backstage at the Phoenix Coliseum on Friday night, December 17, 1965.
Back row, left to right:
Chris Hillman, Gene Clark, Michael Clarke, David Crosby, and McGuinn.
Front row, left to right:
Three unnamed Phoenix radio DJs from station KRUX.

Here is a photo of McGuinn with his Rickenbacker 12 string before Byrd wiring.

Is that a shot of Roger playing a 360/12 without the Byrds wiring?

Yes it is John and no middle pickup either, which makes this photo 1965 or 1966, but no later than February 1966.

Leave it to Terry O to find out who these three guys are ! Wow!
So what kind of carpet are they standing on and what does the Cros have in his pockets?
no doubt he will have those answers too!

Mark: He certainly has won the right to be known, unofficially of course, as Terry O'Byrd.

are missing as well.

There is no doubt the person kneeling on the right is the man himself: John Lennon. Take a closer look. That's him.
