All depends on where they were rehearsing.

Even though his baby is the RM1999, he owns numerous other 4001s.

Most notably is his MG '69-'70 Deluxe.

look close ... it looks like he has an early 70's fireglo set neck bass without a trc ...

Skunk stripe neck...no stripe body...no TRC...dark finger board. Do I dare say it? Do I dare think it? Could this be a Rickenfacker???

Ah, ****!

Yes!

Didn't notice the lack of skunk on the body!

Squire playing a faker. Why, never in a million years... Image

I think its a faker:

-no TRC
-no skunk stripe on the body
-knobs don't look correct
-strap button on horn looks too low
-tuners too long

Could it be? How could a Ricken-God of his caliber stoop to such a level? Say it isn't so, Chris!!

Also, notice the small truss-rod nut pocket. It is a 4001 copy, decidedly. Chris Squire playing a Rick copy?? Wonders never cease.

Maybe it was the prototype of the 4000 series body design that he came up with at about the same time he invented Ric-O-sound !!!

His white Electra, the one with the plug in modules that he likes to use on "Tempus Fugit", was only one of a couple models with this feature, I think they made a Rick copy.

Maybe thats what he's got here.

I bet they're over Steve Nardelli's house (Syn singer)...and they're just going over a few tunes for the new album.

Why in the heck would Squire be playing a fake, when he probably has a million Rick's at home?

He doesn't like 4003s apparently.

Not a fan of the necks.
